A heads-up for any ex-Christian witches or any ex-Christians in general: this stuff about Jesus being “copied” from Horus or Christianity generally being “stolen” from paganism is pretty much all conspiracy theory and/or a gross oversimplification of actual history. If you want to learn more about Christianity’s origins, I recommend Bart D. Ehrman’s How Jesus Became God.

Weirdly enough, Jesus’s closest historical inspiration is actually the Orphic Dionysus, and even then the connection is fairly distant.

bart ehrman also has a bunch of lectures on youtube you can check out. Here’s one of his lecture series on the above topic but he has a bunch of stuff about early christianity in general.

God Against the Gods by Jonathan Kirsch is also an excellent choice for learning about early Christian history from an unbiased source (its not a dry read either)
